More clutter.

Eyes dry, painfully so.
Feel like the desert is closing in.
What can you do about it, little girl?
Nothing more then grin.

Seems like it sometimes.
Make it the words
that you need to remember
Finding the echos of the worlds that you knew
maybe it'll all get better.

Dancing through all the fears
and the work
Skipping a job here and there
Losing your grip,
falling to the earth once again.

Distractions like the wind and sun,
Little brothers who love to run
I'm closer to the edge
now

it seem like forever
and it won't be the same
when you look to the heavens
and you find somebody to blame
and there so many stories
that you wish to tell
and there so many places
that you could set sail

to the ocean
to the tides
you'll always
be mine

and there is so many
things to do
that there is always
stories for you.

And the ocean, touches the sea
make it perfect
just for me
the sweet sand
beneath my feet
you'll remember
just to be.

Cleaner waters
don't be mad
if you had to
be sad.

Watch the ocean
the horizon
feel the moments

We wait for so long in this dream of ours,
A place that we've known.
These memories shocking and brilliant light,
Closer to the many places we've flown.
The birds are like eagles tonight.
Here our words are unspoken.

The rhythm and the rhyme?
Hollow caution we all take,
Ending in this little town besides the lake.

But you wish for the best,
Little pieces that can bind.
In this world we do rest,
Newer are the many places to find.
Do you remember this time?

  1. You hadn't told me you're a poet, before... ;)

Lovely, it's slightly wistful, and I adore the ocean references :) Have you ever been to the Ocean?
